PEARL DROPS AD CLAIMS, INCLUDING REMBRANDT COMPARISON, SUBSTANTIATED, the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (NAD) announced Dec. 22. Following a review of data submitted by Carter-Wallace, NAD concluded that the following statements were supported: "Laboratory testing proves: Pearl Drops cleans better than Rembrandt for half the price"; "And Pearl Drops is gentle enough to use every time you brush"; and "To help get your teeth their whitest use Pearl Drops Whitening Toothpaste."
