Signs licensing agreement May 31 to manufacture and market Chesebrough-Pond's Cutex lip color and nail polish, treatment and implements in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Chese-Pond's will continue to market Cutex nail polish removers. The Cutex products being licensed by Jean Philippe posted sales of more than $20 mil. in 1993. The agreement is expected to be effective by August. Chese- Pond's says that the move will allow it to better focus on its core "strategic" product categories, which include skin, oral and hair care, deodorants and antiperspirants, fragrances and personal products. Chese-Pond's states that it is not considering selling the Cutex brand
