Clinique

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Turnaround Cream for Dry Skin provides the same gentle exfoliation as original Turnaround Cream but has a "buffered formula that delivers additional moisture to dry skin," the Estee Lauder division states. The company notes that the dry skin version, formulated with humectant hyaluronic acid, lubricating kukui nut oil, anti-oxidant tocopheryl linoleate and soothing alpha bisabolol "is a moisture-barrier rebuilder." As in the original formula, the exfoliating ingredient in the product is salicylic acid. On-counter in September, the 2 oz. item is $27.50 suggested retail. Clinique introduced Turnaround Cream in September 1992 ("The Rose Sheet" Aug. 10, 1992, p. 5) and added Turnaround Lotion for Men in March 1993 ("The Rose Sheet" Nov. 8, p. 9)
