Gillette attributed the positive results to the SensorExcel, Sensor for Women and Blue II Plus razors, all of which are all "doing very well" in Europe, and the CustomPlus razor, which is said to be performing well in the U.S. The North Atlantic Group includes the U.S., Canada and Western Europe. Worldwide, Gillette blades/razors sales advanced 14.3% to $620.2 mil. in the third quarter, and profits were $236.1 mil., up 12.3%.
