ADVANCED POLYMER SYSTEMS TOILETRIES/OTC SALES GROWTH IN 1994 partially offset declines in licensing revenues and bulk product revenues, but were not enough to reverse an overall sales decline for the year. Consolidated sales were down 20.3% to $15.9 mil., primarily due to a drop in licensing fees associated with now-completed clinical work, the company said March 22. APS markets six OTC and personal care products. In 1994, the company introduced two new formulations of Take-Off makeup/facial cleansers featuring a Microsponge-based moisturizing system.
