Executive Summary

Prescriptives: Color Sense collection of eight fragrances -- intended to represent what a color would smell like -- debuts in November for the holiday season. Sense White, the Estee Lauder division says, is "clean, crisp, pure and airy," while Sense Red is "hot, passionate, sinful." White includes notes of watermelon, green apple, water hyacinth and muguet while Red has clementine, bergamot, rum and ginger among its notes. The other colors are Black, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Purple. A color circle on each bottle distinguishes the scents. Housed in a clear 1.5 oz. bottle, each Color Sense sells for $35.
