Executive Summary

California VOCs: California Air Resources Board developing survey to assist the agency in determining which of 50 consumer product categories will be included in the state's Phase III mid-term volatile organic compound (VOC) regulations. Slated for completion by June 1997 and implementation by 2005, the Phase III VOC reductions are required to reduce 1990 baseline VOC figures by 25% in California ("The Rose Sheet" Nov. 28, 1994, p. 3). The CARB survey will be issued to firms in mid-February with responses due within a month, CARB said.
