FDA REFORM LEGISLATION FLOOR AMENDMENTS SHOULD NOT BE PURSUED, Senate Labor & Human Resources Committee Health Policy Advisor Jane Williams said, warning that this tactic could kill Sen. Nancy Kassebaum's (R-Kan.) FDA reform legislation (S 1477). Speaking at a May 13 Food & Drug Law Institute Pharmaceutical update meeting in Washington, D.C., Williams asserted that because of the limited time left in this session, the bill will never reach the floor if too many time-consuming amendments are filed.
