Procter & Gamble ad exec: Firm appoints Denis Beausejour, 38, to VP-advertising, worldwide, effective Aug. 1. He succeeds L. Ross Love, 50, who will retire from the company Sept. 30 to concentrate on a broadcasting company he founded and the acquisition of an urban-format radio station. Beausejour will be responsible for relationships with worldwide agencies, the promotion of every brand on an international level and basic policy and procedures, P&G said. He first joined the company in 1979 as a brand assistant in Canada, rising through the ranks to VP and general manager, laundry and cleaning, personal cleansing and health care products-China in 1995. A successor to Beausejour will be announced at a later date...
