Shiseido appointment: Tokyo-based firm taps Takashi Yamaguchi as president and CEO of its U.S. subsidiary, Shiseido Cosmetics (America), effective June 17. Yamaguchi replaces Yugi Kishida, who has moved back to Japan to become managing director of Shiseido Sales Company, Osaka Chuo office. After joining Shiseido in 1967, Yamaguchi held various positions in sales, marketing and operations before taking on the role of president and CEO of the company's Canadian subsidiary in 1992.
