Avon executive changes: Andrea Jung, head of Avon's North American marketing operations, is appointed corporate senior VP and president-marketing, responsible for R&D, market research, strategy and joint ventures, the company announced. Avon Senior VP and CFO Edwina Woodbury is promoted to senior VP, chief financial administrative officer, with the added responsibility of customer service and global manufacturing support. Both execs will report to Chairman and CEO James Preston and President and COO Edward Robinson. Other promotions include Eastern Europe Senior VP and President Susan Kroft to senior VP and president, new and emerging markets and Brian Martin, vice president, corporate communications, to senior VP-corporate communications. North American Operations Group VP Harriet Edelman will also add the responsibility of global purchasing to her current role.
