COLOR ADDITIVE LAKES FINAL RULE DUE OUT EARLY 1997, FDA Office of Cosmetics and Colors Director John Bailey, PhD, told attendees of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association's 1996 scientific conference Nov. 3-5 in Atlanta, Ga. FDA received "many comments" on the color lakes proposed rule and is "in the process now of going through these and looking at the various issues that are raised," Bailey said.
