Givenchy's "lighter, fresher" take on Organza is the first in a series of limited edition summer variations on the scent scheduled to debut annually, the company said. L'Eau d'Ete is alcohol free and adds a "fresh note of crushed green leaves" to Organza's heart of gardenia and ylang ylang. The scent will be available from July to September in 1,700 department store doors, including Macy's and Neiman Marcus, and is expected to generate $500,000 in retail sales. The 3.4 oz. L'Eau d'Ete flacon is differentiated from the Organza bottle by a frosted tint; red detailing replaces black accents on Organza's outer carton.
