The Stamford, Conn.-based company will introduce Smash, its first teen hair care offering under the Conair brand, in more than 15,000 mass market doors in October. Positioned to 12- to 19- year-olds, the three-SKU line-up is for the young woman "who is searching for a trendy, offbeat hair care product as an alternative to her basic everyday selections," the company said. The line was introduced at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Marketplace expo in Philadelphia June 28-July 1.
