Ultima II

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

Cybill Shepherd joins Kim Delaney as Ultima II spokesperson, Revlon announced. The move follows Ultima II's decision to reposition its skin care and cosmetics line to women 40 and older ("The Rose Sheet" Aug. 3, p. 5). Shepherd will appear in 30-second TV and radio spots and print ads in October women's fashion and beauty books, the company said. The nationwide ad campaign will feature Ultima II's "best-selling" product, Glowtion, as well as Full Moisture Lipstick. The ads convey the image of "witty, confident, energetic and honest" women, and will reflect its understanding of the "individual beauty of women...and the changing needs of our skin," Ultima II said. New York City-based Tarlow designed the ads. Later this year, promotional plans will include trial-sized sampling of select products
