Licensing agreement with Unilever covers research and development "in the area of hair loss prevention," BMS said Oct. 6. Under terms of the agreement, Bristol obtains "rights to hair follicle research and patents developed by Unilever," as the company "develops prescription compounds that will be used to prevent hair loss." The companies "also may collaborate on development of over-the-counter products in the future," the two parties said. Unilever said the agreement provides it with "potential commercialization of a technology which was not being advanced to the marketplace"
