James Gager to senior VP creative director, a newly created position, effective Feb. 1. Gager's responsibilities will include overseeing packaging design, in-store marketing initiatives and in-store installations, such as counter displays and promotions. Gager held the identical position at Prescriptives, which he joined in 1979. Prior to his arrival at the Estee Lauder division, Gager was design director at L'Oreal. He will report to MAC President John Demsey
