Americas retail sales increased 14.4% to $106.4 mil. in the second quarter, the personal care marketer announced July 21. Overall retail revenues in the region grew 16% to $136.6 mil during the three months; for the six-month period, retail sales rose 12.6% to $257.7 mil. European retail sales declined 2.9% to $121.9 mil. for the quarter, reflecting the economic instability in Russia, Herbalife said. The Asia/Pacific Rim region posted an 8% increase in retail sales to $167.3 mil. On a consolidated basis, net sales rose 7.9% to $226.4 mil. Through six months, net sales grew 7.9% to $452.8 mil. Consolidated retail sales for the second quarter increased 7% to $425.8 mil. and 7.3% to $854.6 mil. over six months
