Executive Summary
Garden Botanika and The Cosmetic Center have both separately hired Keen Realty Consultants for real estate consulting in their respective Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Garden Botanika, which filed April 20 in Seattle federal bankruptcy court, plans to close 95 of its 245 doors (1"The Rose Sheet" April 26, p. 5). The Cosmetic Center intends to liquidate its business by mid-November (2"The Rose Sheet" April 26, p. 4). Keen Realty, whose clients have included Caldor, Citibank, Neiman Marcus, Woodward & Lothrop and Service Merchandise, has advised companies in workouts and restructuring efforts for more than 15 years
