Executive Summary
FDA solicits written comments on the Cosmetic Product Voluntary Reporting Program for a 60-day period. The announcement was published in the Federal Register Aug. 9. VCRP was reinstated earlier in 1999 following Congress' appropriation of an additional $2.5 mil. for FDA's cosmetics program (1"The Rose Sheet" Jan. 11, p. 3). The program was suspended during FY 1998 due to lack of funding.
