Executive Summary

Hyper Real Foundation creates a "synthetic skin texture" by manipulating light rays, the firm says. Used alone or over existing foundation, Hyper Real's reflective quality is attributed to red pearl pigments. Eight pearlescent shades, ranging from Fair to Medium-Deep to Extra Dark, "self-adjust" to suit all skin types and color, MAC says. The foundations will be available in March for $24 each, along with three limited-edition Special FX foundations for the face and body in Violet, Green and Gold. Poodle Lipstick and Poodle Lipglass in "brilliant" Pink join the spring Puppy Love collection debuting in February. Available in bright, glossy and sheer satin finishes, the products retail for $13.50 and $11.50, respectively. Nico Lipglass, Vinyl, Velvet and Pink Freeze Lipsticks round out the collection
