Executive Summary

Health and beauty care sales jumped 30.4% in fiscal third quarter (ended Dec. 31), attributed to a 331% revenue increase for its Saugus, Calif.-based Stanford Personal Care manufacturing facility. Results also were boosted by Allou's Direct Fragrances subsidiary, which reported a 51% sales increase and a 37.6% growth in prestige fragrance. Net sales climbed 23% to $108.1 mil., resulting in net income of $1.9 mil. Allou will expand its H&BA business nationally through acquisitions, the company says
