Jockey Gets Physical With Foray Into Beauty Arena

Net sales for fiscal year ended March 31 increased 3.8% to $68.9 mil., largely due to new distribution, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. firm says. Parlux Fragrances

Licensing agreement with Jockey will lead to major fragrance launch in fall 2001, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. distributor and manufacturer says after signing agreement with intimate apparel company. Fragrance, targeted to consumers with "health- and fitness-oriented lifestyle," will be sold in department and specialty store doors as well as Jockey's proprietary stores, company maintains.
