Thirty-eight year IFF veteran and researcher Braja Mookherjee passed away Dec. 5 after a serious illness, International Flavors & Fragrances says in a Feb. 10 statement. Mookherjee, who worked most recently as VP, global director of natural products research, joined IFF in 1965. He worked his way through the ranks of IFF R&D, becoming head of natural products research in 1988. An inventor who held hundreds of patents in the areas of flavor and fragrance research, Mookherjee is credited with developing IFF's Living Flower and Space Rose technology and "embodied the idea of finding the place where art and science meet," IFF says...
