Parlux Fragrances to launch first Ocean Pacific fragrance in department stores worldwide in March 2001 under a licensing deal with the lifestyle apparel company. First-year sales are expected to reach $20 mil., Parlux said. The deal affords Parlux an entry into the Generation Y market with the opportunity to develop a fun, beach-oriented brand. Ocean Pacific said it was drawn to Parlux' "modern 'out of the box' thinking." Parlux also is looking at other, undisclosed licensing agreements.
