Fragrance ingredient manufacturer Symrise has submitted three pre-manufacture notices to the Environmental Protection Agency for multiple new consumer product dispersive additives under EPA's Toxic Substances Control Act, according to March 17 Federal Register 1notice. Among the chemicals is 7-cyclohexadecen-1-one, 8-cyclohexadecen-1-one. EPA's review of the chemicals will be complete between May 17-23, agency reports. CIBA Specialty Chemicals also submitted notice for acrylic polymer, a binding resin for coatings, with an EPA review expected to be complete by May 22.
