Australian beauty company MOR is bringing its namesake range of food-inspired bath and body products stateside with a launch in about 150 doors nationwide, according to the company. The range was showcased during the Extracts Trade Show in New York City March 26-29.

Grouped into five food-based collections - Dolce Dolce, Revival, Juice, Provincial and De Luxe Spa - the products are currently entering specialty boutiques, as well as two Fred Segal doors in California and Henri Bendel in New York City.

MOR has been sold in Australia since 2002. The company was founded by visual merchandiser Dianna Burmas and industrial designer Deon Iuretigh.

Formulated with extracts from flowers, fruits, herbs and nuts, the collections are inspired by ancient European and Eastern bathing rituals, according to the firm. The lineup targets women ages 15 and older.

Dolce Dolce features six different ice cream-inspired bath and body collections: Sorbet, Limoncello, Pistachio, Gelato, Marshmallow and Nougat. Each range contains bath and body products, including body and hand moisturizer, body wash, bath pearls and lip tint.

The Revival line offers four bathing and moisturizing collections with "aromatic" herbs. Body butter, sugar body polish bath soak, body wash, bath foam, soap, exfoliating body wash and hand and body balm come in Ginger, Green Tea, Honey and Milk Ranges.

The Juice collection comprises five fruit-based bath and body ranges. Passionfruit, Grapefruit, Kumquat, Lemongrass and Lillypilly feature a hot salt rub, body balm, soap, body butter, bath foam and bath salt.

The Provincial lineup offers similar products in Almond Husk, Pear & Quince, Fig & Olive and Pomegranate scents. De Luxe Spa is positioned as a relaxing range with products such as massage oil, foot balm, bath soak and bronzing cream.

MOR products are housed in bright packages featuring either a simple apothecary or vintage style label. Formulas will range in price from $5 for a lip balm to $26 for bath foam.

Separately, Australian cosmetic and body care line SugarBaby will be expanding stateside through Steamboat, Colo.-based distributor Chocolate Fish. The "mid-tier" beauty collection also was presented at Extracts.

Chocolate Fish will introduce the collection in about six boutiques within the next month. The brand recently was introduced in Saks department stores and Ricky's, Proffitt's and McRae's in New York City, as well as Midwestern retailer Beauty Express and select boutiques throughout the country.

The collection also is available through online retailers such as Beauty.com.

SugarBaby cosmetics include formulas for lips, eyes, cheeks and nails. For lips, the company offers items such as Kiss 'n Tell Lipstick, Fairy Gloss Lip Glaze, Lip Candy Glitter Gloss and Pot of Gloss.

For eyes, the range offers various shades of Eye Candy Shimmer Shadow, Dream Queen Eye Cream, Wink 'n Blink Eye Shimmer and Ice Princess Eye Line and Shine. Nail lacquer, foundation, blushes and bronzing powder round out the collection.

Body care items include Shimmer 'n Shine Body Spray, a "lightweight deo-cologne" that "contains a unique blend of shimmers for a subtle sweet shine," according to Chocolate Fish. Bomb Shell Satin Body Souffle is a "velvety body balm" formulated with "a triple whipped moisturizer enriched with shea butter to give skin a smooth satin feel," the firm added.

Formulas for body also include Glamour to Go Shimmer Puff, Ice Princess Silky Smooth Body Scrub, Dream Girl Beauty Bubbles, Ice Princess Instant Self Tan and Beauty Queen Alluring Body Lotion.

Sugarbaby products will retail for between $8 for nail lacquer to $15 for blush. The formulas are housed in girly packaging in various shades of pink, purple and orange, and feature the sketch of a blond woman smiling as she sits at a vanity.
