Procter & Gamble International Operations and Wella have signed a contract establishing P&G as purchasing agent for the German hair care firm, excluding purchasing of select materials and services for areas that will continue to be overseen by Wella. P&G will establish a separate group using resources from the two companies to purchase raw materials, packaging materials and services for both. Effort is part of the firm's previously-announced plan to generate €300 mil. in synergies, P&G says.
