Executive Summary
California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment extends public comment period for di-n-butyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, di-n-hexyl phthalate and di-isodecyl phthalate to May 24, agency says. OEHHA announced plans to list the substances under Proposition 65 as chemicals known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity on March 4 and initiated a 30-day comment period closing April 4 (1"The Rose Sheet" March 14, 2005, p. 7).
