Narciso Rodriguez: Designer's her eau de parfum will debut in Saks Fifth Avenue stores this month, Beaute Prestige International says. Scent will additionally roll out in Bloomingdales's and Nordstrom in mid-September, two years after debut of original fragrance, an eau de toilette featuring orange and osmanthus blossoms, amberlyn, vanilla and vetiver accords (1"The Rose Sheet" July 7, 2003, p. 6). Scents share a heart of musk with floral, amber and woods, but edp version includes notes of rose and peach pulp, soft amber, patchouli and sandalwood, creating a "more intense, more personal, more singularly sensual" fragrance, according to BPI. Like the original, edp is housed in a rectangular bottle painted from within and intended to resemble an ancient Chinese snuff bottle, but the color scheme is reversed so the parfum comes in a pale pink bottle with black lettering.
