Executive Summary
Interagency Coordinating Committee for the Validation of Alternative Methods issues second expert panel report on its assessment of the current validation status of in vitro test methods for identifying ocular corrosives and severe irritants, National Toxicology Program Interagency Center for the Evaluation of Alternative Toxicological Methods announces in Nov. 2 Federal Register 1notice. The report is the product of an ICCVAM teleconference Sept. 19, in which the panel reanalyzed background review documents on the methods, but made similar conclusions to those it reached during its January meeting (2"The Rose Sheet" Sept. 26, 2005, In Brief).
