Beauty/Personal Care Service specialty panel will be available in early 2006 under expanded Homescan MegaPanel, which now comprises 125,000 households, marketing information provider reports Dec. 6. Homescan is the consumer packaged goods industry's "leading source of consumer and shopper insights," ACNielsen claims. Beauty and personal care program "will provide the industry's most comprehensive measurement of beauty/personal care categories and enable marketers to identify consumer segments based on where consumers shop and what they buy," according to the company. Expansion of Homescan has resulted in more services offered including Media Facts, which links shopping behavior with media habits, and enhanced new product performance tracking, ACNielsen says...
