Philosophy: Applying "the same peptide technology" used in Philosophy skin care, "anti-aging, bio-peptide and soy-based" shear splendor daily shampoo helps "turn back the hands of time on hair strands," according to the company. Shear splendor collection also includes daily conditioning hair treatment mask, which adds "sheen, luster, body and moisture" with its "blend of bio-peptides, soy and botanical butters." Silicone-based daily smoothing serum and weekly restorative conditioning oil round out the collection. Designed to be used in sequence, four products will retail for $18-$22 apiece in May at Sephora, Nordstrom and on the company Web site....

Principessa: Niche brand expands distribution to select Victoria's Secret stores, Principessa announces. Eight products, including Dolce Dreams Whipped Body Lotion ($25), Fresh Fiore Shower Cream ($20) and Delizia Mia Sugar Polish ($25) are launching in the lingerie retailer, according to Vancouver, Canada company. Principessa is now distributed in approximately 200 doors worldwide, about one-third of which are in the U.S., according to founder Trish Lucarino.
