Unilever musical chairs: Michael Treschow will assume chairmanship of Unilever NV and Unilever PLC in May, company announces Jan. 12. Treschow will replace Antony Burgmans, who is retiring after 35 years of service. Treschow, who comes to the firm with an extensive business background, will be the first person from outside Unilever to hold the esteemed position, company notes. He currently chairs Ericsson, Electrolux - from which post he will step down in April - and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, where his term expires in May.
