Iden International: Hair and scalp therapy firm launches Iden Botanical SpaTherapy , a line of sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners that "pamper hair and scalp with exotic herbs and bee propolis." Energy shampoo and conditioner energize and strengthen hair with ginseng, hemp seed and aloe. The Omega 3 shampoo/conditioner duo - rich in omega 3 fatty acids - also features Iden's exclusive botanical anti-aging complex synthesized from black currant, flax seeds, borage and perilla. Kenzo: Japanese fashion brand to launch Tokyo by Kenzo , a new men's fragrance that invokes the bright lights of Tokyo by night, according to the company. Designed by Firmenich and bowing in October in Sephora doors, the scent is an "electric, aromatic, woody fragrance" that blends "explosive yellow" notes including ginger, lemon and grapefruit with "luminous green" essences like shiso, maté absolute and green tea accord. Rounding out the scent are "vibrant red" tones of pink pepper and bitter orange as well as "intense darkness" notes of guaiac wood, cedar, clove and nutmeg, Kenzo notes. The bottle - reminiscent of skyscrapers and bamboo - is a "pure and organic shape with flashes of light." Both the bottle and the outside packaging were created by Japanese designer Kashiwa Sato. The scent will retail for $50 for 50 mL and $65 for $100 mL....

Germ-X hand sanitizer: Vi-Jon Labs is promoting Germ-X Advanced Protection foaming hand sanitizer as an alternative to alcohol-based sanitizers. Launching now in Wal-Mart doors before debuting in other retailers this winter, the sanitizer is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial formula that kills 99.99% of many common germs and bacteria in as little as 15 seconds, according to Vi-Jon.
