Executive Summary

Consumer Products Division revenue in the third quarter grew 5.8% on a reported basis and 8% like-for-like to $2.9 bil. (€1=$1.44), benefiting from "excellent performances in facial skincare and make-up," L'Oréal reports Oct. 24. Sales for Luxury Products division were up 3.5% like-for-like and 7.2% on a reported basis to $1.35 bil., with dynamic growth in emerging markets, firm adds. In the U.S., the unit was boosted by the launch of Explorer by Ralph Lauren for men and Emporio Armani Diamonds for women. Total sales of L'Oreal Cosmetics were $5.53 bil., representing reported and like-for-like gains of 7% and 7.6%, respectively.
