More than half of women who participated in a "national dialogue" with health and beauty aids marketer Ingenuity Products cited the fact that "hair color can stain skin" as one of the worst aspects of dyeing hair, firm reports in Dec. 5 release. "Although 94% of women try to avoid or [minimize] getting hair color on their skin, 44% reported experiencing skin stains every time or every few times they colored," Ingenuity says. Additionally, the survey assessed holiday trends and found that many women feel the need to update their look during the season.
