Arden expects a debut fragrance to emerge from its collaboration with designer Alberta Ferretti in spring 2009. The two will develop, market and distribute fragrance, cosmetics and skin-care products under an exclusive long-term global licensing deal announced Jan. 28 between Arden and AEFFE S.p.A. Chairman and CEO Scott Beattie states: "Adding the Alberta Ferretti name to our designer fragrance brands allows us to diversify our fragrance brand portfolio and strategically expand our reach of prestige fragrance distribution, particularly in the European fragrance market."
