Murad earns Skin Cancer Foundation seal

The Skin Cancer Foundation has awarded seals of recommendation to Murad Professional Daily Moisture Charge SPF 30 and Murad Man Face Defense SPF 15, firm announces Aug. 12. Applicants for seal of recommendation must demonstrate that their product has a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or greater, as validated by testing on at least 20 people, and that product is backed by "acceptable" test results for phototoxic reactions and contact irritation. "Achieving the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal for our products is a prestigious and scientifically validating recognition," says Howard Murad, M.D., dermatologist, CEO and company founder.
