Executive Summary
Nicholas Munafo is new president of Beaute Prestige International's U.S. business, according to March 17 announcement from Shiseido subsidiary. Munafo comes to the company from Procter & Gamble's prestige products unit, where he most recently served as VP-sales & marketing, overseeing such brands as Escada, Gucci, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana. Munafo was marketing manager of private label brands at Federated Department Stores prior to joining Proctor & Gamble in 1998. "In addition to his invaluable experience in marketing and sales, Nicholas brings with him a proven understanding of U.S. market distribution and brand expansion, an important asset to BPI in its ongoing and ambitious local development plan," BPI Chief Operating Officer Eric Henry says.
