Fragrance Foundation announces April 10 that Vera Wang will be honored with Hall of Fame award at 2008 FiFi Awards & Celebration, taking place May 20 in New York. Award is voted on by Fragrance Foundation's board of directors and presented to "an individual who has brought extraordinary ingenuity, dedication and inner resources to bear, not only on his/her company's success, but to the fragrance industry as a whole," according to release. "A tremendous influence in the fashion industry," Wang's contributions include Vera Wang, Sheer Veil, Bouquet and Truly Pink fragrances, Rochelle Bloom, president of the Fragrance Foundation, notes.
