Fashion and jeans brand GUESS? and Coty enter into a license agreement to create and market new fragrance lines, effective January 2010, companies announce Aug. 13. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Signing with Coty is a quantum leap for our brand. We are convinced that Coty will bring GUESS? to the forefront of the global fragrance market," says GUESS? Vice Chairman and CEO Paul Marciano. "This collaboration with Coty will provide the perfect platform for GUESS? to create innovative, highly desirable and luxurious fragrances that reflect our company's image and legacy." The designer brand's fragrances currently are distributed by Parlux.
