Executive Summary
The European Flavour and Fragrance Association announces Dec. 3 it is revamping its structure to focus on flavors, and will therefore transfer regulatory and advocacy activities for the fragrance industry to a European Affairs Department within the Brussels-based International Fragrance Association. Effective Jan. 1, the change is motivated by "the need for sharper specialization at a time of increasingly difficult challenges facing the fragrance industry," EFFA says. The EFFA task force for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical Substances will continue under the auspices of the new IFRA department
