Executive Summary
New York-based fragrance manufacturer announced Feb. 17 that current non-executive chairman Doug Tough will officially take helm as chairman and CEO March 1. Tough was appointed Sept. 14 following the resignation of chairman and CEO Robert Amen, but could not assume the new roles until his contract as CEO and managing director with health care protective barrier manufacturer Ansell Limited expired. The office of CEO at the firm has been staffed by CFO Kevin Berryman, Fragrances President Nicolas Mirzayantz and Flavors President Hernan Vaisman, all of whom have reported to Tough during the transition period. Tough, who has been on IFF's board since October 2008 and previously had a 17-year career in consumer products with Cadbury Schweppes, looks to "leverage the enormous opportunities that exist" for IFF
