Council to provide online compliance solutions

The Personal Care Products Council and Kaplan EduNeering, a compliance and knowledge management provider, announce April 30 an alliance to create online learning programs for the personal-care industry. Initiative will focus on "key tenets of promoting safety, advancing science, informing the public and harmonizing global standards," addressing such issues as quality assurance, safety evaluation and microbiology, environmental stewardship, sustainability and green chemistry, release notes. According to Kaplan EduNeering President Lisa Clune, the partnership will allow Kaplan to help Council members and emerging companies with their compliance efforts amid "the growing regulatory complexity of the competitive international business environment." Council President and CEO Lezlee Westine states: "The accessible learning programs that will evolve from this partnership will assist our member companies in their day-to-day efforts to manufacture and sell safe, high-quality and innovative products."
