One in 10 women in the Boomer generation report buying cosmetics and skin care through an online retailer, according to Mintel. Already "one of the largest beauty segments," the population of female Boomers will swell by 30.9% between 2005 and 2015, Mintel says. "These women spend 13 or more hours online a week, making the online market a powerful resource if retailers can get Boomers to log on," says Mintel Senior Analyst Kat Fay
