Executive SummaryCosmetics giant inks deal with French biopharmaceutical firm "to increase the volume, range and scope of protein interactions studies that Hybrigenics has been performing for L'Oreal in the past six years," according to Hybrigenics, which says first orders under the agreement will amount to roughly $507,000 in second-half 2010. Etienne Formstecher, head of marketing, sales and project management at the Paris-based firm, says L'Oreal "has once again placed its trust in Hybrigenics' functional proteomics expertise and plans to use the full range of technologies offered by Hybrigenics Services," which uses two-hybrid screening and related methodologies "to identify, validate and inhibit protein interactions for researchers in all areas of life sciences.
