Walgreens Looks To Capitalize On “Expertise” Of British Retailer Boots

Walgreens looks to leverage private-label brands and know-how of British retailer Alliance Boots GMBH, in which it recently acquired a 45% stake. Walgreen’s increasing interest in private label “does not bode well for many of Walgreens' suppliers,” according to Euromonitor.
