Perrigo switches CEO to drive consumer focus

Perrigo has turned to tobacco industry veteran Murray Kessler to implement its “consumer-focused strategy” following the decision to separate its Prescription Pharmaceuticals (Rx) business. Installed as the firm’s president and chief executive officer with immediate effect, Kessler replaces Uwe Röhrhoff who held the position for just eight months (OTC bulletin, 12 January 2018, page 23).
