Executive Summary
Colgate-Palmolive announced new positions for three senior executives viewed as potential successors to CEO Reuben Mark July 9. Ian Cook will take the COO post and will head all Colgate's businesses except for Latin America and the Hill's pet food division. Javier Teruel is appointed vice chairman and will be responsible for worldwide strategy. Lois Juliber, also appointed vice chairman, will continue to head Global Business Development, R&D and other areas. All three will report to President William Shanahan.
